Alowyn Gardens
The gardens are situated just one hour drive to north-east from Melbourne. They are not free to visit, but worth to see at least once. Except for gardens itself there are nursery and cafe. The best time to visit is spring when flowers are in bloom, but at the time the place gets overcrowded.

IELTS results
It's hard to believe it, but I got the score that I desired. I need it for scholarship.
I got 6.0 for listening, 7.5 for reading, 6.0 for writing and 6.0 for speaking. That is 6.5 overall. I'm quite curious why listening is only 6.0, because it was the easy test and I was sure about my answers. But anyway, I'm happy with this result.

Busking
I don't know about the other Australian cities, but in Melbourne in order to be allowed to perform on the streets people should buy the license for busking. The cost of the such pleasure is $20. For this price everyone get bill (which symbolize the license), booklet with information about basking and up to one hour presentation where is not allowed to play in the city and the other organisation questions.
I wonder how the Australian government treats this issue because, I'm not sure but, in Russia it's prohibited to perform on the street. I many times saw the police fines people who played musical instruments on the streets.

The purse story
It's getting funny that every time when I meet Yana after a gig some bizarre story happens.
Few weeks ago I was on my way to Flinders Street to keep Yana after the concert of The Rubens (by the way, here is the result of her work that day). In a coach with me were just a few people. Opposite to me, across the pathway there was a couple: a boy and a girl. They look like hard clubbers: guy wear a huge cardigan, whereas girl wear a cocktail dress alongside with a bizarre fur top. The couple was in a good mood, they definitely went somewhere to have fun. After the passing a few metro-stations in the coach went guy who look... I don't know... just like an ordinary guy, but bolt a little bit.

The most livable country
Two days left till I quit the job. I have to say that these last days
I'm working without particular effort. In other words I'm doing a lot
of work, but the thought that I'm quitting the company is quieting me.
Today's the biggest news for me is the new results of better life index by OECD that shows rate of the different topics between the countries. The first place this time is held by Australia. I was shocked to know that average life length in Australia is about of 82 years. It's unthinkable!
I'd like to highlight the row of strange though quite pleasant coincidences. Last year, when we visited Australia, Melbourne became the most livable city in 2012 and now we're going to live there. We flew through Singaporean airport Changi which was the best airport in 2011. And within' a month we're flying to the most livable country through South Korean airport Incheon which has become the best airport in 2012. So, only the best!
By the way, in the better life index Russia is holding the thirty second place among thirty six of all. With almost zero result of health topic. It's sad and unpleasantly.
